What's in a Name?
Why Team FoMo?

Team FOrward MOtion MS 150 bike tour captain, Pat Lynch, has battled Multiple Sclerosis since 1991. At that time he lost the use of his legs, so he went with what worked; a hand propelled bike to ride.  With burning blistered hands, he's going after the disease head on.

"I'm fortunate that my upper body is
still strong enough to complete this task."
"I don't set any land speed records
with my bike, but as long as
we're in a forward motion
I'm gonna get there. "
- Pat Lynch

Even through the pain, Pat strives on by riding for team "Forward Motion." "FoMo for short," Lynch always says with a laugh, "because as long as you're in a forward motion you'll get to where you're going."

Pat rides to raise awareness of the disease that has affected him and so many others.  He says no matter what, he'll keep on moving forward until a cure is found.

Here is a great local news story on Pat during the 2004 MS150 that helps explain how we got our team name.

We are going to start doing a weekly ride - like we have done in the past.  Anyone is welcomed.

We will send e-mails out to let everyone know dates/times/locations.
