Fundraising!
Q: I have
never fundraised before!
That's okay, most people haven't and we hear it all the time. It is typically
those most daunted by the fundraising aspect who turn out to be the best
fundraisers! Just be sure to remember one thing, you are giving people the
opportunity to help end the devastating effects of MS. You are CHAMPIONING a
great cause.
Use the fundraising section on the
North Central States Chapter website
for ideas and read your riders manual when you receive it (after registration).
Of course Team FoMo and this website are always available to support your
efforts.
Q: I know the fundraising commitment is $200.00 but
what if I raise more?
GREAT question! Our average MS 150 Bike Tour Cyclist raises well over the $200
minimum and once you raise over a specific amount you can earn great prizes and
incentives. These incentives change from year to year so be sure to check
the tour information for details.
Let's face it, we cyclists can be a competitive
bunch, so there are lots of incentives for Top Fundraiser, Top Fundraising Team
and Team with the Highest Fundraising average to name a few.
